Moët & Chandon Pop Up
Freelance product design and production for Bompas & Parr
Moët & Chandon launched their summer champagne, Ice Impérial, with a pop up party at Madison Rooftop Bar in Jean Nouvel's One New Change, offering fantastic views of St. Paul's Cathedral and the famous London skyline. I worked with Bompas & Parr to produce a set of machine milled aluminum ice stamps and several ice trays. Due to the conductive properties of the metal, the stamps transfer the user's body heat to melt the ice cube into an embossed logo. The series of phrases echo the playful, summery atmosphere of the launch. An iceberg-inspired glorifier was designed to display the stamps and ice cubes, which were served to guests with Ice Impérial. Finally, a drip tray of cell-cast acrylic creates a beautiful and functional setting for the carving of the massive blocks of ice.
