"We lust for beast-like qualities in inanimate beings.  The logic of the beast defies the logic of the architectural."  - Bittertang

Snuggles represents the formal exploration of organic form in 3D digital space and its manifestation as a physical object through the utilization of 3D printing technology. The project began as a series of seven volumes shaped by concepts of proximity, movement, and plasticity. The resulting object appears soft, mutable, and doughy. The ground plane merges with the legs of the masses, creating a dynamic transition from field to object, all inset within a CNC milled base. The ‘snuggles’ are populated with polyps, inspired by the growth patterns of coral.
